I have been a prosecutor for more than 17 years; first in Alameda County then here, in Plumas County. During this time I have successfully taken on the many roles of prosecutor from charging cases to trying murderers, serial rapists, drug dealers and other violent criminals. During the past six years in Plumas County as the Felony Deputy DA, I have improved the office's credibility with the court and community while bringing a 31% increase in the felony conviction rate. More than 6 years ago my wife, Lara, and I vowed to leave behind our hurried lives in the Bay Area in order to pursue our dream of living in the Sierras. Having been a frequent visitor to the area for 35 years, I knew Plumas County was a place where we could live the life we wanted; raising our family and making important contributions to our community. We remain grateful to live in a place we truly love. As your District Attorney, I will work hard on a daily basis. I will take on the difficult cases and challenges never forgetting "public service" means that I serve the public and not that the public serves me.
