The Antwine Case
On December 16, 2009, in a Feather River Bulletin article,
members of the Plumas County District Attorney's Office and
the general public learned the current District Attorney, Jeff
Cunan, had announced he would not seek re-election.  

I would like to thank Jeff Cunan for his service to Plumas
County and wish him luck in his future endeavors.  I am
optimistic that he will remain committed to preserving the
integrity of the DA's Office through the conclusion of his
tenure as Plumas County District Attorney.

Despite Jeff's announcement, I intend to continue to
vigorously pursue my candidacy for District Attorney.  I
believe Plumas County residents deserve a high level of
dedication from their elected officials, and I intend to use the
time before the June 8, 2010 election to demonstrate my
commitment to the District Attorney's Office.  I am confident
that my 17+ year career as a prosecutor has provided me
with the necessary experience, character, and conviction to
meet this challenge.
